Water Usage Calculator

Living in the desert makes water a precious commodity. Most of the time we are blissfully unaware of where our water comes from except to know that it comes from the “aquaduct”. A large portion of our water comes from the tops of snow laden peaks in the Sierra Nevada. Often traveling hundreds of miles. In times of drought, we hear about cutbacks, increased prices and how there isn’t enough water for growth. This means we should us our water wisely and only as necessary to ensure that the local wells and aquaduct do not run dry.

Our Water Usage Calculator will help you determine an estimate of how much water you use every day and how you compare to the Antelope Valley Average. From there you can read our hints and tips to reduce your usage and not only be more green but save money.

Enter information into the form below and press the “Calculate” button to calculate your daily, monthly, and yearly water use in gallons. You do not need to answer questions if they don’t apply.
